Our Mission
Comics For A Cure, Inc. is a non-profit organization devoted to financially assisting local families affected by pediatric illness and funding research for a cure through laughter and entertainment.



Event Information
Comics For A Cure's next annual comedy benefit will be held at the Royale in Boston's Theatre District on September 19, 2010. We will be funding 3 Boston-area families who have a child fighting pediatric cancer. Our previous comics Nick DiPaolo (as seen on Comedy Central, Howard Stern, Opie and Anthony, Fox News, and the Joy Behar Show), Joe List (as seen on Comedy Central), and Gary Gulman (as seen on Seasons 2 & 3 of Last Comic Standing, Leno, Letterman, and his own Comedy Central Special), will be returning. We are also happy to feature local Boston comedy scene sensation Bigg Nez.


Times are tough, but children are still fighting for their lives every day, so we offer a creative opportunity for the community to come together in support of what really matters. By each contributing a little, we help these families relieve some of their overwhelming financial struggle.

Event Promotion

Due to the caliber of the nationally-known and local comedians for this event, media coverage will be high. In 2009, the Comics For A Cure event was featured in articles in The Boston Globe, The Patriot Ledger, The Metro, The Quincy Sun, etc. Two of our comedians were guests on KISS 108's "Matty in the Morning" show and on WBCN, both of which also ran our commercial as a Public Service Announcement.

The event was promoted in every local print and web outlet for event listings available. In addition to the promotion on the same media outlets above, this year we will also have a large social network presence on Facebook and Twitter. The select families who will be the recipients of the proceeds will also promote this event within their own social networks.

This web site is the main source of information for the event and is mentioned in all public relations material.

Presenter: $20,000
The "Presenter" is a unique sponsorship opportunity available only to one company and would be recognized as such (Comics For A Cure, presented by Your Company) on every advertisement and media promotion of the event. Other benefits include:
• 1 VIP luxury box (8 seats) for the comedy show.
• Passes for all your guests for a special "meet and greet" with the comedians.
• Full-page ad on the front inside cover in the event program book (if received by September 1).
• Verbal mention during event "Thank You" speech.
• National advertisement of company name/logo/website link on www.comicsforacure.org homepage, fliers, and advertisements/promotions.

VIP Sponsor: $10,000
Very limited VIP Sponsorship level available. Benefits include:
• 1 VIP luxury box (6 seats) for the comedy show.
• Full-page ad on in the event program book (if received by September 1).
• Verbal mention during event "Thank You" speech.
• National advertisement of company name/logo/website link on www.comicsforacure.org homepage, fliers, and advertisements/promotions.

Platinum Sponsor: $5,000
Limited Platinum Sponsorships available. Benefits include:
• 1 VIP luxury box (6 seats) for the comedy show.
• Full-page ad on in the event program book (if received by September 1).
• Verbal mention during event "Thank You" speech.

Gold Sponsor: $2,500
Benefits include:
• 4 VIP floor tickets for the comedy show.
• Quarter-page advertisement in the event program book (if received by September 1).

Silver Sponsor: $1,000
Benefits include:
• 1 VIP cocktail table (4 seats) for the comedy show.

• Company name/logo recognition in event program book (if received by September 1).

VIP Supporter: $500
Benefits include:
• 2 VIP floor tickets for the comedy show.

Supporter: $250
Benefits include:

Gift-In-Kind Opportunities
An hour before the show, Comics For a Cure, Inc. will host a Silent Auction/Raffle. All Gift-In-Kind donations can be donated by calling Liz Tolini at (508) 844-8918 or by email at
